- The Founders Hall Rotunda is the site of a week of free holiday concerts December 7-13. Open to the public, the concerts include student performing arts groups of all ages.
- Students Sydnee Allen, Tyler Jones, Andrew Altman, and Varniececia Borchert join Queen Latifah in New York for an appearance on "Larry King Live" and the "Rachel Ray Show." The appearances were part of the ongoing partnership effort between MHS and The Hershey Company to promote understanding of the School and its relationship to the chocolate manufacturer.
- On Monday, December 21, the Christmas tree in the Founders Hall Rotunda caught fire, forcing closure of the Milton Hershey School Visitors Center and the administrative offices housed in the building.
